In researching the Thomas family history during the 1970s and 1980s, Max discovered that besides oral history little was documented about the life of his ancestors other than dates of birth, marriage and death. As a gift to his descendants, he documented his own life.
The second volume, covers the period of 1998 until 2021 when Max was unable to continue to add to the content as a result of declining health. Volume I covers the years 1932 to 1997 and was written in narrative form by Max over a few years.
