The story of The Shed

One of the first projects Max embarked on shortly after moving in to the family home in Seven Hills was to replace a small garage at the side of the house with a large shed further towards the rear of the property. He, with the assistance of his younger brother Syd, built what was to become known as The Shed, or Max’s Shed.

Max spent many hours in the shed happily inventing, creating, repairing and recycling. He would often have an LP or the radio playing old time music in the background, whistling along while he worked. Max was proud of his shed.

It wasn’t uncommon for a family member, friend, or even an unknown local to walk up the driveway to The Shed with something to be repaired or welded, or for advice from Max on a particular project or problem.

In the near future we’ll be sharing photographs of The Shed.

If you’ve ever visited The Shed, you may like to share your thoughts in the guest book.
